Did you know that you can embed gifs into Symbaloo? A .gif is a file that contains several frames that continuously cycle. You can make gifs from pictures or from videos (with the help of gif makers or Photoshop). Gifs are the perfect way to give a quick instruction, explanation, or comedic break within your webmix.

Just like with all embedded content on Symbaloo, the source of the video, image, gif, document, etc. must be from the internet. You cannot directly upload a gif from your computer. If you found your gif online, then move to the second step. If you have made a .gif yourself, go to one of these popular image sharing websites that you can upload your .gif file to: makeagif.com, postimage.org, and tinypic.com. All of these image sharing websites will give you a URL that you can link to.

Once you’ve either uploaded your .gif or copied the image url, paste the link into a new tile. Directly to the right of the link, the box should read “Embedded.” Then, save the tile.
