We hope your school year is off to a great start! If you’ve created any Symbaloo Lesson Plans, don’t forget to share them with us for a chance to be to featured on next week’s Lesson Plan of the Week by replying to this email, or sharing with us on Facebook or Twitter.
Created by Symbaloo user Ebmonds from New York, this week’s lesson plan is for 3rd grade math. This pathway will help students understand how to tell time on clocks and be able to differentiate measurements on bar graphs and pictographs. Check it out!
Students will learn how to tell and write time from an analog and digital clock to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m. They will also learn how to generate measurement data by measuring lengths of several objects to the nearest whole unit.
The pathway features video lessons and questions to assess students’ understanding of time. The lesson plan concludes with Word Docs that include blank clocks for students to fill out the correct times.
