Do you have a lot of bookmarks in your browser that you wish you had in your Symbaloo webmixes? Symbaloo offers a simple way to import all of those bookmarks directly into your account hassle free!

Export procedure for:

Internet Explorer
1.  In Internet Explorer, click Favorites, click the down-arrow next to Add to Favorites, and then click Import and Export.
2.  Click Export to a file, and then click Next.
3.  Click to select the Favorites check box, and then click Next.
4.  Select the Favorites folder that you want to export. If you want to export all Favorites, select the top level Favorites folder. Otherwise, select the individual folder that you want to export.
5.  Click Next.
Note: By default, Internet Explorer creates a Bookmark.htm file in your Documents folder. If you want to use a name other than Bookmark.htm, or if you want to store the exported Favorites in a folder other than the Documents folder, specify the new file and folder name.
6.  Click Next.
Note: If you already have a file that has the same name, Internet Explorer asks you to replace it. Click Yes to replace the file. Click No to provide a new file name.
7.  Click Export.
8.  Click Finish.
9. Go to importer.symbaloo.com and you can now import your bookmarks to Symbaloo. This will add a webmix to your account called Bookmarks and your are free to drag and drop the tiles wherever you’d like.

Safari
1.  Open Safari if it is not already open.
2.  Choose File > Export Bookmarks.
3.  Specify a location for the exported file.
Note: The file’s name is “Safari bookmarks.html.” Most browsers are able to import this type of file.
4. Go to importer.symbaloo.com and you can now import your bookmarks to Symbaloo. This will add a webmix to your account called Bookmarks and your are free to drag and drop the tiles wherever you’d like.

Firefox
1.  Click the Bookmarks button Bookmarks-29 and select Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window.
2.  From the toolbar on the Library window, click Import and Backup and choose Export Bookmarks to HTML.
3.  In the Export Bookmarks File window that opens, choose a location to save the file, which is named bookmarks.html by default. The desktop is usually a good spot, but any place that is easy to remember will work.
4.  Click the Save button. The Export Bookmarks File window will close.
5. Go to importer.symbaloo.com and you can now import your bookmarks to Symbaloo. This will add a webmix to your account called Bookmarks and your are free to drag and drop the tiles wherever you’d like.

Chrome

1. Select Bookmarks at the top of the browser
2. Then select Bookmark Manager
3. Click Organize
4. Then click Export Bookmarks to HTML File at the bottom of the drop down menu.
5. Once you have an HTML file go to Importer.symbaloo.com
6. There you will see an option to import your bookmarks file
7. Once you import your bookmarks you can go back to your account and you should see a new webmix created called Bookmarks.
8. You can drag and drop them wherever you like.
